Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategies that improve productivity and efficiency, while maintaining high levels of customer service. The ideal candidate should have a keen understanding of supply chain dynamics and a track record of successful management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
• Continuously assess supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Utilize technology and software systems to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends affecting the supply chain.
• Foster a culture of collaboration within the supply chain team.
• Engage with stakeholders to optimize product flow from supplier to customer.
• Ensure accurate documentation for compliance and audits.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain roles

Technical Skills

• Logistics Management

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

• English: Fluent
