We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our passionate team in Port Elizabeth. As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that improve environmental health and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address local and global environmental issues.
• Create and maintain project timelines to meet environmental goals.
• Report on environmental and resource management practices to stakeholders.
• Advise on regulatory changes and implications for projects.
• Encourage recycling and waste reduction initiatives within projects.
• Foster partnerships with governmental agencies and NGOs.
• Review and develop environmental policies for alignment with local regulations.
• Design public education campaigns on sustainability.
• Coordinate site assessments and evaluations.
• Review construction plans to minimize environmental impact.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a related position
