Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Turkey Pinner to join our bustling kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pinning turkeys accurately, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pin turkeys following standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct quality control checks on turkeys before preparation.
  • Keep pinning tools and area well-maintained.
  • Work alongside chefs to enhance kitchen workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Document production counts and inventory levels.
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff on pinning techniques.
  • Engage in problem-solving for operational efficiencies.
  • Support the kitchen in high-pressure situations during busy hours.
  • Maintain excellent time management to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handling or kitchen management certification is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in fast-paced food production environments preferred.
