Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing exceptional customer service. You will play a crucial role in patient care by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities

• Aid in processing and filling prescriptions as directed by pharmacists.
• Provide guidance to patients on the proper use of medications.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving stock.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all relevant regulations.
• Support health promotion initiatives and outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technologies or a related field

Experience

• 2+ years of pharmacy or healthcare experience

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy Software
• Data Entry Skills

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
