Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and health histories on patients.
• Administer IV therapy and monitor patient responses.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Assist in supervising junior nursing staff and nursing students.
• Engage with patients to provide compassionate support and care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse certification

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• South African Nursing Council registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Pediatric nursing experience: Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support is an advantage.
