We are seeking a detailed-oriented Accountant to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial records and reports for internal and external use.
• Analyze financial data to support business decision-making.
• Handle compliance with tax regulations and requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Process invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Offer insights on financial performance and operational improvement.
• Facilitate training and mentorship to junior accountants.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Honours or higher qualification in Accounting is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting roles

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)
• Financial Analysis

Certifications

• CIMA
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
