Job Description

As a General Practitioner with us, you will engage with patients to provide high-quality care and support. You will manage a diverse patient population, handle acute and chronic illnesses, and enhance health education among the community.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to diagnose health issues and develop treatment strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary.
• Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

• Conduct medical research to contribute to advancements in healthcare.
• Participate in practice audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in family practice or similar setting

Technical Skills

• Diagnostic skills
• Emergency care

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Time management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a rural healthcare setting: Hands-on experience working in rural or underserved communities.
• Advanced skills in minor surgical procedures: Ability to perform common minor surgeries and procedures.
