We are seeking a dedicated Solar Power Engineer to spearhead our solar energy initiatives in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and renewable energy systems. In this role, you will design and implement solar power solutions that align with our commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical aspects of solar energy projects from conception to installation.
• Assist in the selection of appropriate solar technology.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.
• Engage with local authorities for necessary permits and approvals.
• Prepare feasibility studies and performance evaluations for potential projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a closely related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in solar power systems

• Solar Technology Implementation
• Energy Efficiency Analysis

Languages
