Job Description

The Graders and Sorters (Tobacco Sizers) play a crucial role in our tobacco manufacturing process. You will be responsible for grading and sizing tobacco leaves according to company standards, ensuring consistency and quality throughout production.

Responsibilities

• Grade and sort tobacco leaves according to quality standards.
• Monitor and adjust machinery settings for optimal production.
• Report quality issues and seek solutions promptly.
• Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on production targets and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 1-3 years' experience in agricultural or manufacturing sectors.

Technical Skills

• Basic mathematical skills
• Machinery maintenance knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
