Job Description

The Hoist and Winch Operator plays a critical role in our operations by managing the equipment used to lift and move goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating hoisting and winching machinery, ensuring that tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage hoisting and winching operations to ensure materials are moved safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
• Help train new staff on the operation of hoist and winch machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain accurate logs of material movement and equipment usage.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred

Languages
