Job Description

The Soft Water Mechanic will be tasked with the installation, maintenance, and repair of soft water systems for residential and commercial properties. You will diagnose issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure systems operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair soft water systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform routine service checks and preventive maintenance.
• Train junior technicians on best practices and operational standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and build client rapport.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
• Oversee projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines are met.
• Stay updated with the latest technology in water treatment.

Requirements

Education

• NQF Level 4 in Plumbing or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in water treatment systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in diagnostic equipment

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Customer service

Certifications

• Trade Certificate in Plumbing

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
