Job Description

As a Putty and Caulking Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the application of putty and caulking materials across various construction projects. You’ll ensure that surfaces are prepped adequately and that applications meet the highest industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the application of caulking and putty across a variety of construction projects.
  • Train staff on industry best practices for caulking applications.
  • Regularly check work quality to maintain industry standards.
  • Keep track of material usage and order supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Maintain effective communication with other supervisors and project managers.
  • Adapt work schedules according to project demands.
  • Report project outcomes and any issues to higher management.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve team skills.
  • Develop strategies for efficiency and workflow enhancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Vocational training in construction supervision is preferable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on putty and caulking.

Advantageous

  • Ability to speak multiple languages: Fluency in more than one language is preferred, especially Afrikaans.
