We are on the hunt for a Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in cloud technologies and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud adoption strategies.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Perform regular audits of cloud environments for compliance.
• Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar
• Master's degree an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cloud and DevOps roles

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Azure
• CI/CD Tools

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• DevOps Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of DevSecOps principles: Knowledge of integrating security into DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
