CNC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Technician to join our thriving team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, ensuring precision in all manufacturing processes. You will work with state-of-the-art machinery to produce high-quality components, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC machine setups and adjustments.
• Inspect finished components for defects and accuracy.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Assist in developing new CNC programs for different manufacturing projects.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with design teams to optimize part designs for manufacturability.
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on best practices in CNC machining.
• Provide feedback on manufacturing processes to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Technical Certificate in CNC Technology or similar
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery
