Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical design, analysis, and project management, contributing effectively to diverse engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical design projects from concept through to completion.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
• Implement best practices for engineering and design processes.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Support research and development efforts by testing new materials and technologies.
• Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree focusing on Energy Systems is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering field

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
