We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Iron and Steel Worker to join our crew. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ironwork and steel fabrication, with a strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments.
Responsibilities
Execute the installation of structural beams, columns, and other steel components.
Ensure all work performed meets industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with designs.
Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with industry practices.
Assist with site lay-down and material handling as needed.
Perform stress tests and evaluations on structural components.
Lead a crew of workers during installations and ensure quality control.
Keep abreast of project developments and manage resources efficiently.
Maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety standards.
Support project scheduling and work planning efforts.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical qualification in construction or engineering desirable
Experience
3-5 years of experience in structural work or related field
