We are on the hunt for a committed Paper Wood Cutter to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in Durban. The chosen candidate will focus on cutting paper wood to precise specifications. This physically demanding role requires solid attention to detail, ensuring every piece meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize cutting machines to accurately cut wood according to specifications.
• Perform safety checks on machinery before operation.
• Identify and rectify any technical issues with cutting equipment.
• Work closely with the quality control team to ensure standards are met.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Keep accurate records of production quantities and time.
• Assist in the training of new team members.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Experience with cutting machinery is preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar production role

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Technical drawing reading
