Job Description

We are seeking skilled Explosives Workers to join our dedicated team. The successful candidates will be responsible for filling shot holes, drilling for blast holes, and ensuring the safety of all personnel during blasting operations. Previous experience in the mining industry is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct drilling and blasting operations in accordance with mining plans.
• Manage explosives handling within the project guidelines.
• Ensure all personnel are trained and adhering to safety standards.
• Evaluate the blast area before and after operations for safety.
• Communicate effectively with the Site Manager to provide updates and address any issues promptly.
• Utilize blasting software for planning and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Explosives Handling is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in the mining sector with hands-on experience in explosives handling.

• GPS Navigation

Certifications

• Valid Blasting Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
