Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Continuous Mining Machine Operator to handle our advanced mining equipment and assist in maintaining high production levels while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate continuous mining equipment to meet production targets.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of mining machinery.
• Maintain compliance with all environmental and safety standards.
• Document all maintenance activities and failures.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss safety and performance.
• Facilitate training for junior operators and new recruits.
• Assist with logistical tasks and movement of materials as required.
• Monitor and control machinery to optimize mining operations.
• Support other departments as necessary during operational downtime.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in mining or related fields.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
