Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in individual and group therapy, and will be passionate about supporting clients through their mental health journeys. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide effective therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of our diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs through interviews and assessments.
• Deliver therapeutic services in both individual and group settings.
• Meet regularly with the healthcare team to refine treatment approaches.
• Document treatment progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Support clients through transitions and changes in their health.
• Lead mental health awareness initiatives within the community.
• Collaborate with social service agencies to aid clients.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or closely related field
• Must be registered with the HPCSA

Experience

• Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in clinical psychology.
