Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Chef to join our dynamic team at Gourmet Kitchen Co. in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a flair for crafting delectable dishes using fresh, local ingredients and bring creativity to our menu. You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create seasonal menus.
  • Prepare ingredients and ensure kitchen tools are in good working order.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality.
  • Assist with catering events and special functions.
  • Maintain records of food supplies and costs.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for kitchen improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume kitchen environments

Certifications

Languages
