Job Description

As a Textile Knitting and Weaving Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender, you will play a vital role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include setting up and operating machines to produce high-quality textiles while ensuring safety and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment to correct issues and ensure continuous operation.
• Record data on production rates, machine performance, and quality control.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with the warehousing and logistics team to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production goals and project updates.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Diploma in textile technology is preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in textile machine operation.

Technical Skills

• Textile machine troubleshooting
• Fabric production

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles: Background in improving efficiency through Lean methodologies.
