Job Description

As a Mandrel Maker, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by producing precise mandrels tailored for various applications. The ideal candidate is skilled in operating specialized machinery and has a strong eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, and produce mandrels for varied manufacturing processes.
• Utilise advanced machining techniques for precision fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment and processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.
• Comply with all health and safety standards during manufacturing.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mandrel fabrication or manufacturing role

Technical Skills

• CNC Machining
• Material Knowledge

• Welding Certification
• Quality Assurance Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
