Veterinarian

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for providing outstanding medical care to pets and animals, performing surgeries, and advising pet owners on health and wellness. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat injuries and illnesses in animals.
• Monitor animal recovery post-surgery or treatment.
• Conduct routine check-ups and emergency consultations.
• Educate clients on pet health and well-being.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
• Implement clinic policies on animal welfare and client care.
• Supervise veterinary assistants and interns.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
• Lead community awareness campaigns on animal health.
• Support the administrative team in scheduling and client communications.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional certifications in specialized fields (e.g., surgery, emergency care) are advantageous.

Experience

• 3-5 years of clinical experience in veterinary medicine
