Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer in Cape Town, you will develop and execute test plans and cases, helping to maintain the quality of our software products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement testing methodologies that enhance product quality.
• Ensure all software meets performance and user experience standards.
• Conduct regular reviews of testing processes for effectiveness.
• Train and mentor junior QA team members.
• Provide quality assurance support to project teams.
• Evaluate new testing tools and technologies.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree or equivalent experience is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of experience in QA/testing environments

Technical Skills

• Automation Testing (Selenium, Cucumber)
• Performance Testing (LoadRunner, JMeter)

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD practices: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices for streamlined testing and integration.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript): Skills in languages that enhance automation and testing capabilities.
