DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our CI/CD pipelines and managing our cloud resources, enabling rapid deployment of projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud resources and services to optimize cost and performance.
• Integrate monitoring tools and alerting systems for operational efficiencies.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration on development projects.
• Implement containerization strategies and manage orchestration tools.
• Conduct regular system audits and compliance checks.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the infrastructure.
• Support development teams in application troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or system administration
