Looking for a passionate General Practitioner to be a vital part of our healthcare team in Cape Town. You will engage with patients to understand their health concerns, provide effective diagnostics, and advocate for their treatment and wellness strategies. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide health education and preventive care to patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in after-hours call rotations as required.
• Keep abreast of new medical practices and updates in the field.
• Advocate for patient wellness within the healthcare system.
• Manage chronic illnesses and coordinate patient follow-ups.
• Lead community health outreach initiatives.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and mental wellbeing.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine or General Practice preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years in a general practice setting
