Job Description

As a pharmacist at Pharmacy Direct, you will play a crucial role in managing the pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, advising on drug interactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance within our pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pharmacy's daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service to pharmacy clients.
• Monitor the pharmaceutical care of patients.
• Guide pharmacy staff in customer interactions.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Manage adverse drug reaction reports and patient concerns.
• Implement preventative measures for adverse reactions.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PharmD is highly preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Compounded Medications
• Pharmacy Management Software

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT)
• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership experience in pharmacy settings: Experience mentoring and managing pharmacy staff.
