Job Description

An Interventional Neuroradiologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, neck and spine using minimally invasive techniques. This role includes performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpreting imaging studies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards of care.
  • Participate in clinical education and training for junior staff.
  • Stay current with advancements in neuroradiology and interventional techniques.
  • Assess patient health and intervene as needed during procedures.
  • Promote patient safety by implementing quality control measures.
  • Provide mentorship to radiology and medical interns.
  • Coordinate with nursing and support staff for procedural readiness.
  • Analyze and present research findings to the medical committee.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution
  • Specialization in Neuroradiology
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Interventional Neuroradiology
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in neuroimaging interpretation
  • Familiarity with interventional neuroradiology techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
Soft Skills

Certifications
