We are currently seeking a Probation Officer who will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and developing rehabilitation plans for offenders. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting individuals reintegrating into society.
Responsibilities
Assess offenders’ risks and needs to develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
Supervise compliance with parole and probation conditions.
Support offenders in overcoming obstacles to successful reintegration.
Act as a liaison between offenders and community resources.
Stay current with rehabilitation practices and legal standards to ensure effective supervision.
Engage in community outreach to promote rehabilitation initiatives.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in probation and parole work

Collaboration with mental health professionals: Experience working alongside psychologists or social workers.
