Job Description

We are looking for an Urban Space Researcher to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will engage in extensive research and analysis of urban spaces, contributing to innovative planning solutions that enhance urban living for diverse communities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field studies to observe and collect data in urban settings.
  • Create visual presentations to communicate research findings effectively.
  • Engage with local authorities to advocate for data-driven urban policies.
  • Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of urban space projects.
  • Lead workshops and seminars to share best practices in urban research.
  • Contribute to regional and international research collaborations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or Environmental Science.
  • Postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban environment analysis.
