Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Durban. The ideal candidate should have a passion for service excellence, a flair for managing teams, and a keen eye for detail to ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the hotel’s operations, ensuring they align with company objectives.
  • Develop staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively.
  • Enhance guest experiences through personalized service initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Respond to online reviews and maintain the hotel's reputation.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Implement health and safety measures in compliance with regulations.
  • Plan and oversee special events hosted at the hotel.
  • Drive sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Encourage feedback from guests and implement improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
