Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Learning and Development Specialist committed to promoting a culture of continuous learning. You will play a key role in analyzing training needs, facilitating workshops, and tracking the effectiveness of programs. Your ability to foster engaging training experiences will support the professional development of our talented team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments through surveys and discussions.
• Create training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other supporting materials.
• Monitor employee participation in training programs.
• Assess training materials for effectiveness and relevance.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions for new employees to orient them to company culture.
• Manage budgets for training programs.
• Advise on external training vendors and workshops.
• Promote a culture of learning and development within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a focus on training and development
• Master's degree in Education is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in learning and development

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Workplace Training Delivery

Soft Skills

• Creative Problem Solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with coaching and mentoring: Experience in coaching employees to achieve personal and professional development goals.
• Knowledge of e-learning design principles: Understanding of best practices in e-learning and instructional design to enhance training delivery.
