Urban Planner

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Urban Planner in Cape Town to develop innovative urban strategies. You will be involved in the planning and execution of various urban projects, ensuring sustainability and community needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough site assessments and environmental impact studies.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to create effective urban strategies.
• Analyse demographic data to inform planning decisions.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Advocate for sustainable practices in urban planning projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations for clients and local government authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, or similar field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience in urban planning

Languages

• English: Fluent
