Job Description

As an Animal Caretaker, you will be responsible for the daily care of dogs and cats, ensuring their well-being through feeding, grooming, and playtime. We seek passionate individuals who love animals and are committed to providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the intake process for new arrivals and ensure a smooth transition.
• Conduct regular health checks and report any abnormalities.
• Engage with animals to promote comfort and reduce anxiety.
• Assist in training sessions for new staff and volunteers.
• Foster a positive environment for both pets and staff.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and report shortages.
• Participate in community events promoting animal welfare.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience working in kennels or similar environments preferred

• Veterinary Assistant Certification

Languages
