Job Description

As a School Bus Monitor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their bus rides. Your responsibilities will include monitoring student behaviour, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and assisting students as needed. A calm demeanor and strong communication skills are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the boarding and exiting of students from the bus, ensuring all safety measures are followed.
• Report any incidents or concerns to the Transportation Manager promptly.
• Engage with students to encourage positive behaviour on the bus.
• Conduct routine inspections of the bus to identify any maintenance needs.
• Prepare for emergencies by knowing emergency procedures and protocols.
• Assist in developing a positive environment for students during transport.

Certifications

• First Aid certification (advantageous)

Languages
