Job Description

As a Psychologist at Mental Health Solutions, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments and offering psychotherapy to individuals seeking support. Candidates should be versatile in their approach, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to cater to the diverse needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Complete thorough psychological evaluations and assessments for clients.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques.
  • Actively participate in team meetings for case discussions.
  • Create and maintain treatment documentation in line with ethical standards.
  • Contribute to program development and community outreach initiatives.
  • Develop psychoeducational materials and guide service users.
  • Assist in research activities related to mental health practices.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and trainees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards in practice.
  • Maintain confidentiality and foster a trusting environment with clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Psychologist
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a practicing Psychologist
