Join our team as a Tax Consultant in Pretoria where you'll provide expert guidance on tax regulations and compliance. You will work closely with clients to devise tax strategies that are beneficial and compliant with the law. This role requires a deep understanding of the South African tax system and the ability to navigate it effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review tax strategies and provide insights for improvement.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for audits.
• Work closely with clients to gather necessary financial data.
• Assist in handling international taxation issues for clients with overseas interests.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Corporate Tax Knowledge
• Financial Analysis

Soft Skills

• Client Management
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Tax Adviser (CTA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of tax software such as Xero: Experience in using advanced tax software for efficient tax preparation.
• Experience with forensic accounting: Understanding of forensic analysis pertaining to tax fraud investigations.
