Job Description

As a Patient Transport Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transport of patients within our healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities include assisting patients in and out of vehicles, maintaining their comfort during transport, and keeping accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all transport activities comply with safety standards.
• Help maintain inventory of medical transport supplies.
• Assist with patient assessments prior to transport.
• Provide updates to families about patient transport status.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Work collaboratively with the transport management team.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of one year experience in patient transport or a related field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of GPS systems
• Medical transport software proficiency

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication
• Team player
• Ability to work under pressure

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
