Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients’ physical conditions through various examinations and tests.
• Implement treatment interventions aligned with the latest physiotherapy standards.
• Encourage patient adherence to therapy regimens, fostering a positive healing environment.
• Draw up progress reports and actively communicate improvements with patients.
• Provide education on home-based exercises and ergonomics.
• Adapt treatment approaches based on patient feedback and progress.
• Contribute to the development of clinic programs to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in peer reviews and case discussions to improve therapy protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Relevant post-graduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a private practice setting preferred

Certifications

• Physiotherapy Registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

• Experience in Neurological Rehabilitation: Experience working with patients who have neurological conditions.
• Kinesiology Taping Certification: Certification in the application of kinesiology tape to reduce pain and improve movement.
