Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. You will oversee the preparation and dispensation of medications, provide expert advice on health and wellness, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication reconciliation during patient transitions.
• Ensure the safe storage and handling of medications.
• Manage pharmacy records including prescriptions and patient consultations.
• Work with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Assist in developing patient-centered care plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Postgraduate studies in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of retail pharmacy experience

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical Care
• Inventory Management

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certificate in Advanced Pharmacy Practice
• First Aid Qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
