Responsibilities

• Advise clients on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing all legal documentation.
• Engage with third-party vendors for legal concerns and issues.
• Provide legal support during negotiations and closings.
• Facilitate training sessions on legal obligations for the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation in South Africa.
• Assist in risk assessment and management processes.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property matters.
• Contribute to policy development and revision for the firm.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance in all operations.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Postgraduate diploma or LLM in Corporate Law is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
