We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Cape Town. As a valued member of our engineering department, you will engage in designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical devices and systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our projects and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with clients to determine engineering needs.
• Perform detailed calculations and analyses for mechanical designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality standards.
• Participate in technical meetings and workshops.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Document engineering processes and maintain project records.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Prototyping

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
