Job Description

Looking for a dedicated Social Worker to enhance our programs in Johannesburg. As a key team member, you'll be responsible for supporting clients in navigating complex social issues, providing outreach services, and collaborating with local organizations to maximize impact.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client situations and develop effective support plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support to clients.
  • Liaise with other professionals and agencies for client support.
  • Promote client empowerment and advocacy.
  • Organize and lead community workshops and seminars.
  • Document cases and progress notes accurately.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in social work or related field
