Job Description

As the Laboratory Services Administrative Director, you will oversee daily operations and management of laboratory services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and delivering high-quality patient care. Your leadership will guide a dedicated team, enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Oversee laboratory personnel and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage laboratory budgets and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide ongoing training and education to laboratory staff.
  • Develop relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts.
  • Stay updated with advances in laboratory technology and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Ensure the laboratory meets accreditation and certification requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
  • Master's degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory management or a related field
