Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Pietermaritzburg team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of logistics and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities by assessing supplier capabilities.
• Utilize software systems for tracking inventory and shipments.
• Report on supply chain costs and suggest cost-saving measures.
• Prepare documentation for import/export activities.
• Assist in training new staff on supply chain processes.
• Engage in strategic planning for future supply chain needs.
• Evaluate supply chain technology solutions for process enhancement.
• Ensure that safety and quality standards are met within the supply chain.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination

• Spreadsheet Software (Excel)

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
