We are seeking a dynamic Packaging Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our packaging meets both functional and aesthetic standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging projects from conception through to delivery.
• Conduct market research to understand packaging trends and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create impactful packaging designs.
• Assess packaging functionality and user experience.
• Train and mentor junior packaging engineers and interns.
• Stay updated on industry innovations and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in packaging engineering or design

• Material Science

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
