Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Actuary to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing financial risks, analyzing data, and developing insurance products that keep our clients protected and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate potential risks.
• Collaborate with underwriters to refine pricing strategies.
• Advise management on strategic decisions based on data-driven insights.
• Develop and implement actuarial methodologies.
• Support finance and operations in resource allocation.
• Contribute to the risk management framework.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics
• Fellowship in a recognized actuarial society is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in actuarial roles
