Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Event Planner to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll manage all aspects of event planning, from concept development to execution. You will collaborate with clients to create memorable events that exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead event planning discussions with clients and team members.
• Manage logistics, including catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
• Create and manage project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop and implement event budgets.
• Research and source innovative ideas for events.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
• Facilitate team meetings to align event objectives.
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Additional qualifications in marketing or PR are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in high-pressure event planning roles
