Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Event Sales Manager to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and overseeing the planning execution of events. Experience in event sales and a passion for creating positive experiences for clients is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Analyze client feedback and event outcomes to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials.
  • Create sales reports and presentations for upper management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts and agreements.
  • Report on sales performance and contribute to strategy discussions.
  • Utilize CRM software for pipeline management and tracking.
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance sales skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Hospitality Management is an advantage.
Experience
  • 5+ years in sales management or client relations role, with a focus on events.
